Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Dr. Ford completed her Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Fluminense Federal University in 2007 and received her Master’s degree in Virology in 2011. She also specialized as a Veterinary Radiologist in 2014 after working for years in small animal hospitals. After moving to Vancouver in 2016, she kept working in the veterinary field and started studying for her board examinations, which were successfully completed in 2019. Her special interests include internal medicine and feline care.
In her spare time, Dr. Ford likes to spend time with friends and enjoys spending time outdoors hiking the beautiful lakes and mountains around Vancouver. She also shares her home with 2 cats, named Ablon and Solomon that travelled all the way from Brazil.
