Cristine

Cristine jumped into the veterinary field in 2015. After switching out of a Criminology program, she applied for the Veterinary Office and Animal Care program at Douglas College. In March 2016, she joined the Queen's Park Pet Hospital team. She made the switch because she wanted to learn more and better understand her two large breed boys -- Jacobo is a Redbone Coonhound and Blaze is a German Shepherd mix. As her boys are getting older, preventative medicine undoubtedly caught her eye. For this reason, Queen's Park Pet Hospital is where she wants her career to be. The hospital is mostly known for its Fear Free℠ Certification, but the relationship and trust the team builds with clients and patients is why Cristine loves her job.

If she's not at the hospital or spending time with her boys, you can find her at a tennis court rolling around on her skates.
